TICKET TO PARADISE

During a trip to Thailand, Kjeld is forced to leave is wife Kae temporarily, as she is awaiting a definitive residency permit. In the meantime, Frank has found out that his wife Basit has a child in Thailand and wants to take him with her to Denmark. This will not cost little to Frank, but he is willing to go all the way for the woman that he believes to be the love of his life. In Kae’s village, foreign men are a very easy prey, as Saeng’s story demonstrates: she was forced into prostitution by her mother and a friend, as an attempt to get close to Western men and find a husband. As in the global market, the merciless law of supply and demand dominates in love, too.
