In a housing project in 85 Rue de Genève in Lausanne (Switzerland), the keys to the laundry room don’t merely serve the purpose of opening and closing the door. The encounter of the typically order-obsessed Swiss mentality with the residents, who were taken there by the social services, gives rise to unexpected outcomes. In this building the laundry room is situated in a tiny room close to the entrance because the basement is used by prostitutes and their costumers. In order to keep the building clean and tidy, the manager hires Claudina, the new “laundry lady”.
