In 1992, along the border between Poland and Germany, two Romanian citizens got shot and killed by two German hunters, who claimed to have mistaken the men for wild animals.
Twenty years later, the film’s director meets the witnesses of the incident and visits the places where it took place. A cinematographic reconstruction thus becomes an occasion to reflect upon the value of testimony as well as an analysis of the aesthetic and political potential of cinema.
