A journey through the Dozza of Bologna, this film portrays the prison with the highest number of foreigners in Italy. The camera moves through its yards, prison cells, hallways, but mostly among its waiting humanity. It is a framework of stories, faces and private affliction, shaped around the so-called “domandine” (“little requests”), the forms that prisoners have to fill in in order to ask for any kind of service, from medical examinations to phone calls, in a web of frustrations and misunderstandings.
