One year after their expulsion, narrated in “Vol Spécial”, we meet the protagonists of Fernand Melgar’s film again. They have returned to their home countries, in a journey that takes the viewer in the suburbs of Dakar, along the shores of Gambia, in the countryside of Kosovo, in the infamous neighbourhoods of Yaoundé and in Lausanne. Week after week, the director gets more and more aware of the tragic aspects of failed migrations attempts. The stories show people whose dignity have been compromised, and try to make us reflect upon the injustice of state politics that exclude people.
