Bruxelles, August 1999. The corpses of two young people from Guinea are found in the landing gear of a plane coming from Conakry. Every year, thousands of young African young people like them risk their lives to flee a continent that is torn apart by wars and poverty. The Senegalese director Musa Dieng Kalar goes back to Dakar, where he grew up, and asks a painful question: “Has God forgotten about Africa?”- A touching documentary, full of life force and with a view to the future.
