Sunita, a middle-aged Sri Lankan woman, balances her days between a job as a caregiver and her teenage son. A tense silence reigns between the two of them. Their relationship is fraught with conflicts. Growing up in Italy, her son experiences a cultural hybridization that is hard for her to understand as she is busy fighting for a life in a country where she doesn’t want to belong.
