MOOSA LANE

Moosa Lane is the name of a street in Karachi, the capital of Pakistan, where half of the director’s family lives. The other half lives in Denmark, in Copenhagen. This documentary is the personal report of a little girl who grows up among cultures and worlds. With more than 100 hours of filming, over 15 years, Anita Hopland follows his Pakistani family’s life, consisting in 25 people who live under the same roof in Karachi. During long and numerous periods living with her family, she gets more and more closer to a parallel reality, thanks to which she also puts into perspective her life in Denmark.
