An intimate portrait of the Filipino immigrants and elderly people living in a hospice in Taipei, this documentary film focuses on the daily lives of the women taking care of the old guests and on their stories filled with pain and joy. However, what is the price paid by the migrants? Will they ever fulfil their dreams? This documentary also tells the story of profound friendships, which lead the film’s director to became a messenger of the feelings of both the immigrants and of their families, which are still in the Philippines.
