The first generation of Moroccan migrants that came to Holland is ageing, and their children are often at the centre of harsh disputes in the Dutch society. Trying to start a dialogue, the films shows how the price of Moroccan fathers’ lives of hard work and struggle has hopelessly fallen back onto their children.

Talking about it: Luca Queirolo Palmas. Luca Queirolo Palmas teaches Sociology of Education and Sociology of Migrations at the University of Genoa. He is the scientific coordinator of the European project Tresegy, and for years he has been dealing with juvenile immigration, schooling and second generations.
