A ten-year-old Romani boy living in Sweden tries to come to terms with a mysterious illness – the so-called “Resignation Syndrome” – that has led to his two sisters falling into a coma. His close-knit family is attempting to rebuild a normal life far from their homeland, Kosovo, where they were victims of persecution. While their future is on hold awaiting approval of their pending asylum request, the little boy, called Furkhan, dreams of building a spaceship to set off and leave it all behind.
